KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Early-bird registration is now open for a new series of Watercolour Painting Classes with award-winning artist and columnist Karla Pearce.
After an eight-year sabbatical from teaching, Pearce is returning to the classroom with fresh ideas and a bold, contemporary approach to watercolour. During her time away, she developed a vibrant style that brings watercolour the strength and intensity often associated with acrylics, while preserving the versatility and portability of a water-based medium.
Students will explore colour theory, learn how to get the most from watercolour, and create their own finished works of art. Classes are open to all ages and skill levels—from complete beginners to experienced artists ready to explore a bolder approach.
Some supplies are included. Students who already have watercolour paints, paper, or brushes are encouraged to bring their own.
